RENT and TRY

Agreement for Rental with Option to Purchase, is the formula that allows you to obtain in Trial Moletron Equipment, in order to check that combustion problems of a given ship are really solved or, at least, drastically reduced to a normal level of acceptance.

A realistic base to draw up a fair agreement has to outline:
- known chemical and physical data relevant to the fuel oil usually burnt, plus its temperature and pressure at nozzles;
- all facts, negative phenomena and problems (see * below) connected with the whole combustion process - from flames formation up to the chimney - and the impact versus the parts (or materials) touched by flames or by gases.

The outlined description of problems becomes part of the Agreement under a paragraph titled: "scope of the installation" that will also fix the targets to be achieved by the Trial.

Then the Customer and Volmar agree on a sufficient spell of time, enough to check that Moletron has eliminated or drastically reduced the combustion problems. The period of Trial usually starts after an extensive maintenance and cleaning of all parts interested by the combustion process and operations.

WHATEVER HAS BEEN PAID AS RENTAL FEE, THE ALREADY PAID SUM SHALL BE FULLY DEDUCTED FROM THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE EQUIPMENT, AT THE MOMENT THE CUSTOMER AGREES TO PURCHASE THE EQUIPMENT.
 

Major combustion problems and negative phenomena, such as:
Location of SLAG or SOOT formation - SMOKE
Flames impingement's - Clogging - Fouling

 For Boilers:
Poor atomization - Poor air-fuel mixing - High temperature corrosions - Cold end corrosions - Too frequent Boilers' washings.

For Diesel Engines:
Too high gases temperatures - Fire in the discharge duct - Insufficient output - Insufficient scavenging air - Too high tear and wear of : Discharge valves - Piston rings - Cylinder liners
Too frequent: Fuel injectors fouling, clogging, trumpets - Air valves fouling - Recovery boiler fouling - Turbochargers' cleaning and balancing.
